The Maltman was on show at the WSWA at the Grand Lakes in Orlando ,USA last week. This convention is one of the most important shows in America and is attended by all the top drinks brands. Meadowside Blending were lucky enough to attend and Andy was on the ISW stand who import exclusively our Maltman and Royal Thistle whisky in to the States.
One of the highlights of the show was our Maltman Mortlach 13 year old being awarded “Double Gold” medal by a panel of 30 judges, and our 3 year old Blend “Royal Thistle” also getting a Gold medal. A big thanks to Glenn, Cass, Todd, and Greg for a fantastic show.

We are delighted to announce that our Maltman 21 year old Ben Nevis has scooped a gold medal at this years San Fransisco World Sprits Competition.
This is the first time we have entered this event, and to get a gold medal is great.
The single cask bottling we entered was a delicious 21 year old Ben Nevis which is available Europe wide just now.
Aged in a first fill bourbon cask this dram has incredible flavours.
Lovely tropical fruits on the palate with some subtle spice and dark choclate. Its a must try Maltman.

THE MALTMAN MORTLACH 13 YEAR OLD WELL RECIEVED IN U.S COMPETITION.

The Maltman Mortlach 13 year old single cask whisky was entered in to the ULTIMATE SPIRITS CHALLENGE in New York this week and recieved 85 points and VERY GOOD-STRONG RECOMMENDATION.

The Maltman was on show last week at the WhiskySchiff in Lucerne Switzerland. It was a really nice show with 3 boats displaying some of the worlds finest whiskies.
Emely’s Stand was busy with guests trying some new Maltman bottlings including Glencadam 21 year old, Clynelish 15 year old, and Isle of Arran 15 year old.

We are delighted to announce that Forth Wines Ltd will be our sole distributor for our Maltman single cask, single malt whiskies in the United Kingdom.
The Maltman has only been available for the over seas market, so we are very happy that we will now be selling in the UK.

Zurich Whisky Schiff.

The Maltman had a very good weekend in the beautiful Swiss city of Zurich.
The show was held on 5 boats and for 4 days, and the Swiss people were fantastic.

The Maltman and our Royal Thistle have had an excellent first year and we hope it continues to grow.

The Maltman has picked up its second award of the year, Bronze this time at the 2012 Stockholm beer and whisky festival in Sweden.
The catergory was Scotch malt 21 year and older special edition, and our Maltman single cask Bowmore 21 year old bottled at 46% scooped 3rd place.

Cöpenicker Whiskyherbst 2012

What a fantastic weekend in Berlin for the Cöpenicker Whiskyherbst 2012.
The event was held out doors with numerous tents with outstanding whiskies from all over Scotland.
The Alba Imports tent was of course the best stand : ) with Kilchomans new 100% Islay and some lovely Maltman bottlings keeping the German public happy.
We held some nosing and tasting classes on the boat beside the festival,and it was a fantastic setting for some fantastic drams.
